Notes:

The Thurmond gauge is used to aproximate the current level at Fayette Station.

The Hinton gauge can be used to approximate the expected level at Fayette Station in about 12 hours.

The level on the New can change significantly if the US Army Corps of Engineers decides to increase/decrease the amount of water they release from Bluestone Dam. It is not unusal for the level at Fayette Station to change by 2 feet or more overnight.
