Clinic Dates: May 19-20, 2012
Registration Deadline: May 5 Location: Cherry River (tentative) Clinic Fee: $30 per student Class Size: Limited to 6 WVWA members (minimum of 4) Chuck and Nancy Brabec will co-teach the clinic with Charlie Redington. Brandon Engler will be assisting. This clinic is for the kayaker who is already comfortable on class 2 whitewater and making eddy turns and peel outs. We will work on improving our paddling skills - paddle strokes, eddy turns, peel-outs, ferries and bow and side surfing and much more. We will also concentrate on river reading and using water features to your advantage. It is important that you have been paddling at least once or twice in 2012 before the clinic start date. This clinic is tiring for those who are out of practice. Please don't sign up for the clinic if you cannot attend both days. |
